1 Scope
This standard specifies the method for testing the permethrin insect resist (IR) agent content in wooltextile by liquid chromatograph.
This standard is applicable to testing the permethrin insect resist (IR) agent content in animal fibers and their mixed textiles with different proportions.
2 Normative references
The following documents contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this standard. For dated references, subsequent amendments (excluding corrections), or revisions, of any of these publications do not apply to this standard. However, parties to agreements based on this standard are encouraged to investigate the possibility of applying the most recent editions of the normative documents indicated below. For undated references, the latest edition applies.
GB/T 6682 Water for analytical laboratory use - Specification and test methods
TWC TM27 Chemical analysis method for insect resist (IR) agent content in textiles
TWC TM28 Firmness test of insect resist (IR) agent
3 Principle
Extract permethrin chemically from the insect-resistant specimen to prepare into solution, analyze it by a liquid chromatograph under a specific condition after dilution, and then compare the test result with the test results of a group of insect resist (IR) agent solutions of standard intensity (which are obtained by the same chromatograph under the same condition).
4 Instruments and reagents
High performance liquid chromatography separation method in TWC TM27 is adopted for analysis. Unless otherwise stated, only analytical reagents and Class III water specified in GB/T 6682 are used for the analysis.
