UV-protective light weight outdoor clothing
1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules as well as marking, packaging, transportation and storage of UV-protective light weight outdoor clothing.
This standard is applicable to the UV-protective light weight outdoor clothing mainly made of lightweight textile fabrics.
This standard is not applicable to the light weight outdoor clothing for infants and young children aged 36 months and below.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions established in GB/T 15557 and the following apply.
3.1
UV-protective light weight outdoor clothing
outdoor clothing which is mainly made of textile fabrics with UV-protective function and with the conventional mass per square meter of single-layer fabrics (or the sum of conventional mass per square meter of multi-layer fabrics) not greater than 60g/m2
3.2
fluorescent color
color named according to the characteristic of dye or pigment that it shows color by absorbing light and emitting light and fluorescence within the area with visible light
4 Requirements
4.1 Instructions for use
The instructions for use shall be in accordance with GB/T 5296.4 and GB 31701.
4.2 Size specification
4.2.1 Size specification shall be set according to the requirements of GB/T 1335.
4.2.2 The specification of main parts shall be designed according to the relevant requirements of GB/T 1335.
4.3 Raw materials
4.3.1 Shell fabric
Shell fabric complying with the quality requirements of this standard shall be adopted.
4.3.2 Auxiliary materials
4.3.2.1 Lining cloth, border lace and pocket bag
Lining cloth, border lace and pocket bag suitable to the performance of the used shell fabric shall be adopted and their quality shall meet the relevant requirements of this standard.
4.3.2.2 Sewing thread, rope belt and elastic ribbon
Sewing thread, rope belt and elastic ribbon (except ornamental thread and belt) suitable to the performance of the used shell fabric and auxiliary materials shall be adopted.
4.3.2.3 Button, zipper and other accessories
Buttons (except ornamental buttons), zippers and other accessories suitable for the adopted shell fabric shall be used. Button, ornamental button, zipper and other accessories shall be smooth in surface and free of burr, damage, defect and accessible sharp tip or edge. Zippers shall mesh in good condition and run smoothly.
Note: accessible sharp tip and edge are the sharp edge and tip on finished product that may cause harm to human skin under normal wearing.
4.4 Warp and weft yarn
The yarn skewness of top collar, bodice and sleeves shall not be greater than 3%. The front bottom hem shall be free from any upwarp.
4.5 Strip and plaid matching
4.5.1 Obvious strips or plaids of 1.0cm or above on shell fabric shall comply with those specified in Table 1.

Back seam Strips are matched with each other and plaids are matched each other horizontally, with the mutual deviation not greater than 0.2
Sleeves Strips and plaids shall be straight in relation to the sleeve top, with the mutual deviation not greater than 0.5
Notes:
1 The strips and plaids with color cycling shall be matched with each other based on the cycle.
2 Special design is free from such limitation.
4.5.2 Shell fabrics have obvious strips or plaids of 0.5~1.0cm (excluding 1.0cm); for the pocket and front, strips and plaids are matched with each other, with the mutual deviation not greater than 0.2cm (except in special design).
4.5.3 Shell fabric with special pattern shall be subject to the main pattern and the grain direction all over the body shall be consistent.
4.6 Color difference
For finished products, the color difference of top collar from the front is greater than Grade 4, and that of other surface part is not lower than Grade 4 (except in special design).
4.7 Appearance defects
The defect permissibility for each part of finished product shall comply with those specified in Table 2. See Figure 1 for each part of finished product. Only one defect within permissibility is permissible at each part. The defects not covered in this standard shall be in accordance with the requirements for similar ones in the table below based on their forms.
