Police digital trunking communication system - Measurement methods for function
1 Scope
This standard specifies the functional measurement environments, functional measurement conditions, air interface function measurement methods, security encryption function measurement methods, system interconnection function measurement methods, and network management measurement methods for police digital trunking (PDT) communication systems.
This standard is applicable to the functional measurement of PDT systems, PDT repeater stations, PDT mobile stations, and other equipment.

3 Terms, definitions and abbreviations
3.1 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GA/T 1056-2013, GA/T 1057-2013, GA/T 1058-2013, GA/T 1059-2013, GA/T 1364-2017, GA/T 1365-2017 and GA/T 1366-2017 as well as the following apply.

4 Measurement environments
4.1 System measurement environments
When the PDT system serves as the sample under measurement, the measurement environment for air interface functions, security encryption functions, and interconnection functions shall be set up as shown in Figure 1.

4.2 Measurement environments for system network management
4.2.1 Measurement environment for prefectural network management of the system
To measure the prefectural network management functions, the measurement environment shall be set up as shown in Figure 1.
4.2.2 Measurement environment for provincial network management of the system
To measure the provincial network management functions, the measurement environment shall be set up as shown in Figure 2.

4.2.3 Measurement environment for ministerial network management of the system
To measure the ministerial network management functions, the measurement environment shall be set up as shown in Figure 3.

4.3 Measurement environment for mobile station
To measure the air interface functions and security encryption functions of the mobile station, the measurement environment shall be set up as shown in Figure 4.
When measuring the shared packet data function of the mobile station, MSO1 shall enable the shared packet data function. When measuring the dedicated packet data function of the mobile station, MSO1 shall enable the dedicated packet data function.
When measuring the mobile station’s function of pulling satellite-based positioning information, MSO1 shall be configured with a dedicated channel for pulling satellite-based positioning information. When measuring the mobile station’s function of pushing satellite-based positioning information, MSO1 shall be configured with a dedicated channel for pushing satellite-based positioning information.

4.4 Measurement environment for repeater station
When the PDT repeater station serves as the sample under measurement, the measurement environment for air interface functions shall be set up as shown in Figure 5.

5 Measurement conditions
5.1 General measurement conditions
The general measurement conditions for the equipment are as follows:
——Normal temperature: 15℃~35℃;
——Relative Humidity: 20%~75%;
——Normal voltage: For equipment powered by lead-acid batteries, the normal voltage is 1.1 times the nominal operating voltage; for equipment with other types of power supplies, the normal voltage is the nominal voltage;
——Normal barometric pressure: 86kPa~106kPa.
5.2 Working conditions for measurement
5.2.1 Conditions for samples under measurement
5.2.1.1 General conditions for samples under measurement
The sample under measurement may be either a product submitted by the manufacturer for inspection or a product sampled by the testing department as per regulations. For any submitted or collected sample, the manufacturer shall provide the technical documents required for measurement, as well as various connecting cables, security encryption modules and necessary auxiliary testing devices before measurement can commence. Prior to the start of measurement, information such as hardware models and software versions of the sample under measurement and its main constituent equipment shall be provided.

1 Scope

4 Measurement environments
4.1 System measurement environments
When the PDT system serves as the sample under measurement, the measurement environment for air interface functions, security encryption functions, and interconnection functions shall be set up as shown in Figure 1.

4.2 Measurement environments for system network management
4.2.1 Measurement environment for prefectural network management of the system
To measure the prefectural network management functions, the measurement environment shall be set up as shown in Figure 1.
4.2.2 Measurement environment for provincial network management of the system
To measure the provincial network management functions, the measurement environment shall be set up as shown in Figure 2.

4.2.3 Measurement environment for ministerial network management of the system

4.3 Measurement environment for mobile station
To measure the air interface functions and security encryption functions of the mobile station, the measurement environment shall be set up as shown in Figure 4.
When measuring the shared packet data function of the mobile station, MSO1 shall enable the shared packet data function. When measuring the dedicated packet data function of the mobile station, MSO1 shall enable the dedicated packet data function.
When measuring the mobile station’s function of pulling satellite-based positioning information, MSO1 shall be configured with a dedicated channel for pulling satellite-based positioning information.
