1 Scope
This standard specifies the content, procedure and methods for detection of cadaver with sudden unexpected death.
This standard applies to judicial autopsies made by public security bureau, procuratorates, courts and justice bureau as well as medical colleges and universities.

3 General Provisions
3.1 This standard is formulated with a view to make the unified method, procedure and other cautions for detection of cadaver with sudden unexpected death, and to lie the foundation for future recheck and international communication.
3.2 Judicial autopsy of cadaver with sudden unexpected death shall be comprehensive and systematic. If necessary, pathological section shall be taken for examination, and observe lesions of all visceral organs; and acute poisoning shall be eliminated by toxicological tests. Then conduct generalized analysis on the cause of sudden unexpected death by various medicolegal investigations.
