本标准规定了乘用车辆X射线安全检查系统的分类及标识、技术要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志和随机文件。
本标准适用于基于X射线成像技术的乘用车辆安全检查系统的设计、制造和检验。 本标准不适用于采用计算机断层成像（CT）技术和X射线发生装置能量高于1MeV的乘用车辆X射线安全检查系统。
