本标准规定了波长范围低于280nm的点型紫外火焰探测器的技术要求、试验方法和标志。本标准适用于一般工业与民用建筑中安装的点型紫外火焰探测器，对于在特殊环境中安装的，具有特殊性能的探测器（如：防爆或同时具有感温、感烟等复合性能的），除特殊性能要求应由有关标准另行规定外，也应执行本标准。
