This standard is established to enhance the management and governing of polychlorinated biphenyl waste, protect the environment and safeguard human health.
1 Subject Content and Application Scope
1.1 Subject content
This standard specifies standard of polychlorinated biphenyl waste pollution control and disposal methods for anything containing polychlorinated biphenyl wastes.
1.2 Scope of application
This standard is applicable to collection, storage, transportation, reclamation, treatment and disposal of polychlorinated biphenyl containing wastes.
2 Terms
2.1 Polychlorinated biphenyls containing wastes refers to wastes in which polychlorinated biphenyl wastes are equal to or more than the standard value of pollution control and Polychlorinated biphenyls used as impregnants in capacitors.
2.2 Common polychlorinated biphenyl containing wastes refer to the wastes in which is less than the standard value of pollution control.
