1 Scope
This standard is applicable to the safety requirements and test methods for baby walking frames into which a baby is placed (hereinafter referred to as "baby walking frames"), and intended to be used from when the baby is able to sit up by itself until the baby is able to walk by itself.
This standard is not applicable to the baby walking frames for therapeutic and curative purposes and to those baby walking frames relying on inflatable parts to support the baby.
In case the baby walking frames are equipped with the toys for children to play, then the baby walking frames shall meet the requirements of the relevant standards.

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purpose of this standard, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
Baby walking frames
The seat frame in capable of operating on castors, in which a child is placed in a sitting position, which allows a baby to move around with the aid of the support offered by the frame. For example: X-shaped frame, round frame, folding type frame, adjustable elastic frame and other structure forms (see Figure 1).
