1 Scope
This standard specifies relevant requirements on setting condition, installation type, setting sequence, installation quantity and position, installation direction, signal pole, cable erection, design and construction qualification of road traffic signals (hereinafter referred to as signals)
This standard is applicable to installation of signals at urban road and highway intersection (hereinafter referred to as "junction"), urban road and highway section (hereinafter referred to as "road section") and grade intersection between urban road and highway, and urban road and railway (hereinafter referred to as" intersection of road and railway).
