本标准规定了玻璃工厂工业卫生与安全的有关要求。本标准适用于以玻璃窑炉为熔化设备的平板玻璃、日用玻璃（含医药、电子玻璃等）工厂的新建、扩建和改造工程项目的设计、施工与验收，以及现有工厂的生产、维护和管理。本标准不适用于玻璃深加工部分。
