This standard specifies the product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of poly (ethylene terephthalate) (PET) resin for bottles.
This standard is applicable to homopolymerized PET resin which is produced with direct-esterification-continuous-polycondensation or discontinuous-polycondensation method with pure terephthalic acid and ethanediol as major raw materials and copolymerized PET resin which is produced with direct-esterification-continuous-polycondensation or discontinuous-polycondensation method with pure terephthalic acid, ethanediol and isophthalic acid as major raw materials.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of poly (ethylene terephthalate) (PET) resin for bottles.
