——The contents of the second paragraph in Chapter 1 - “Scope” shall be modified from "This standard is applicable to ethanol gasoline for motor vehicles (E10), prepared by adding a certain amount of denatured fuel ethanol and additives for modifying performance into the liquid hydrocarbon, without adding oxygen compounds" to "This standard is applicable to ethanol gasoline for motor vehicles (E10), prepared by adding a certain amount of denatured fuel ethanol and additives for modifying performance into blendstocks of ethanol gasoline for motor vehicles, without adding oxygen compounds" (see Chapter 1; Chapter 1 in 2015 edition);
——The content "technical requirements and test methods of ethanol gasoline for motor vehicles (E10) (IV)" (Table 1 in 2015 edition) is deleted, technical requirements of ethanol gasoline for motor vehicles (E10) (VI) are added, and the phase is divided into Phases (VI A) and (VI B) according to different contents of olefin (see Tables 2 and 3);
——In the requirements of vapor pressure, the content "During change of season, 15 days is allowed for replacement of oils in gas station." is added (see Tables 1, 2 and 3, and Note b in Tables A.1 and A.2 in the annex);
——The technical requirements of the quantitative determination of mercaptan sulfur are deleted (see Table 2 in 2015 edition and Table A.1 in the annex);

1 Scope

This standard is applicable to ethanol gasoline for motor vehicles (E10), prepared by adding a certain amount of denatured fuel ethanol and additives for modifying performance into blendstocks of ethanol gasoline for motor vehicles.

4 Product Classification
According to research octane number, ethanol gasoline for motor vehicles (E10) is classified into four designations: #89, #92, #95 and #98.
5 Requirements and Test Methods
5.1 The additives used in ethanol gasoline for motor vehicles (E10) shall be free from any recognized adverse effect and shall be used according to recommended suitable consumption. Ethanol gasoline for motor vehicles (E10) shall not contain any additive and contaminant which will cause abnormal operation of vehicle and is not allowed to artificially add methylal, aniline and compounds such as halogen, phosphorus and silicon.
5.2 Ethanol gasoline for motor vehicles (E10) shall be blended with blendstocks of ethanol gasoline for motor vehicles complying with GB/T 22030 and denatured fuel ethanol complying with GB 18350. The addition of denatured fuel ethanol shall be in accordance with those specified in Tables 1, 2 and 3 or Tables A.1 and A.2 in Annex A.
5.3 See Table 1 for the technical requirements and test methods of #89, #92 and #95 ethanol gasoline for motor vehicles (E10) (V). If the enterprise has condition to produce and sell #98 ethanol gasoline for motor vehicles (E10) (V), its technical requirements shall meet the requirements of Table A.1 in Annex A.
5.4 See Tables 2 and 3 for the technical requirements and test methods of #89, #92 and #95 ethanol gasoline for motor vehicles (E10) (VI A) and (VI B). If the enterprise has condition to produce and sell #98 ethanol gasoline for motor vehicles (E10) (VI A) (VI B), its technical requirements shall meet the requirements of Table A.2 in Annex A.
6 Sampling
The sampling shall be carried out according to those specified in GB/T 4756, and 4L samples shall be taken for inspection and sample reservation. Sampling shall be carried out in a dark place.
7 Marking, Packaging, Transportation and Storage
7.1 The marking, packaging, transportation, storage and delivery and acceptance shall be carried out in accordance with SH/T 0164, GB 30000.7-2013 and GB 190.
7.2 The oiling machine sold to users that meet the requirements of this standard for the use of ethanol gasoline for motor vehicles (E10) shall be clearly marked with the product's name, designation and grade (V, VI A and VI B). Such as "#89 ethanol gasoline for motor vehicles (E10) (V)", "#92 ethanol gasoline for motor vehicles (E10) (VI A)" and "#95 ethanol gasoline for motor vehicles (E10) (VI B)", and they shall be marked where consumers can see.
7.3 Special pipe, container and pump shall be used for the ethanol gasoline for motor vehicles (E10) specified in this standard during transportation and storage. During storage and transportation, the entire system shall be clean without water. In case of phase separation, the separated water phase shall be delivered to special wastewater treatment plant for treatment.
Note: The seals and materials of storage tanks, pumps, pipelines and gauges used in the transportation and storage of ethanol gasoline for motor vehicles (E10) must not affect the product quality.
