1 Scope
This standard specifies technical requirements and inspection rules of complete popular karting (hereafter referred to as "karting") and its components.
This standard is applicable to the appraisal inspection, acceptance inspection and arbitration inspection of karting produced and operated within the territory of China and imported karting.

3 Technical Requirements
3.1 Basic Requirements
Design, manufacture and repair of the karting shall meet the safety requirements. The karting shall be free from any defect causing harm to personal safety of karter and other personnel. The karting can be operated only after it is in a safe state.
3.2 Operating Conditions
The karting shall be operated at the field complying with GB 19197.
