GB 20400-2026 Safety technical specification for leather and fur products 1 Scope This document defines the terms and definitions for the safety of leather and fur products, provides product classification, specifies the classification that is convenient for technical requirements, the limit requirements for decomposable carcinogenic aromatic amine dyes, formaldehyde, hexavalent chromium, short-chain chlorinated paraffins, chlorinated phenols, phthalate plasticizers, total heavy metals, and dimethyl fumarate in the products, as well as the judgment and marking of the products, and describes the corresponding test methods. This document is applicable to the accessible leather and fur parts in leather and fur products and related articles for daily life, as well as to the recycled leather parts in recycled leather products and their articles. This document is not applicable to leathers, furs, recycled leather products and their articles for special industry.
