1 Scope This standard specifies the framing structure, channel coding and modulation mode for the signals of digital television terrestrial broadcasting and transmitting system in every 8MHz frequency band of digital television among the UHF / VHF frequency band. This standard is applicable to framing structure, channel coding and modulation system of the fixed and mobile terrestrial broadcasting services with digital multichannel television/high definition television. 2 Normative References The following standards contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this standard.
