1 Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements, statistical range, calculation method, energy conservation management and measures for the norm of energy consumption per unit product for ferroalloy (hereinafter referred to as "energy conservation").
This standard is applicable to the calculation and assessment of energy consumption limitation per unit product, and energy consumption control of newly-build plants for 5 specifications of bulk products: ferrosilicon, high carbon ferromanganese (electric furnace ferromanganese), ferromanganese-silicon, high carbon ferrochrome manufactured by electric reduction furnace (submerged arc furnace) and ferromanganese (high carbon ferromanganese) manufactured by blast furnace. Other ferroalloy products may also refer to the provisions of this standard.
