3.1 Infant
The person of 0~12 months old.
3.2 Infant formula food for special medical purposes
Powdered or liquid formula food designed according to the nutritional requirements of infants suffering from special medical conditions such as special disorders, diseases or medical conditions. When the food are taken alone or matching with other food under the guidance of doctors or clinical nutritionists, the energy and nutrients are capable of meeting the growth development requirements of the infant of 0~6 months old with special medical conditions.
4 Technical Requirements
4.1 General requirements
The formula of infant formula food for special medical purposes shall be based on the medical and nutrition research results; its safety, nutritional sufficiency and clinical effectiveness shall be scientifically confirmed and it shall be able to meet the growth development requirements of the infant of 0~6 months old with special
