3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
asynchronous-start three-phase permanent-magnet synchronous motor
permanent-magnet synchronous motors started at a certain frequency and voltage by the asynchronous torque generated by the starting winding
3.2
permanent-magnet synchronous motor driven by variable frequency equipment
permanent-magnet synchronous motors driven by variable frequency equipment
3.3
minimum allowable values of energy efficiency for permanent magnet synchronous motors
minimum allowable values of energy efficiency for permanent magnet synchronous motors under the test conditions specified in the standard
4 Energy efficiency grades
The energy efficiency grades for permanent magnet synchronous motors are classified into three grades, among which Grade 1 is the highest. The measured efficiency for permanent magnet synchronous motors of each grade under specified test method shall not be less than those specified in Tables 1~29 .
The measured efficiency allowance for permanent magnet synchronous motors of each grade under specified test method shall comply with GB/T 755.
For motors of which the rated power values and rotation speed are not listed in the tables, their efficiencies are determined by linear interpolation provided that they are under specified scope.
