Minimum allowable of energy efficiency and energy efficiency grades for cold store (box) and refrigerant compressor condensing unit
1 Scope
This document specifies the energy efficiency grades, technical requirements, test methods and standard implementation for cold store (box) (collectively referred to as "cold store") and refrigerant compressor condensing unit.
This document is applicable to assembly cold store, civil cold store and positive displacement refrigerant compressor condensing unit driven by motor.
This document is not applicable to the following products or cooling systems:
a) refrigerating systems not driven by motor and compressor;
b) refrigerated containers, refrigerating containers and refrigerated and freezing boxes for transportation with or without refrigerating systems;
c) site assembly refrigerant compressor condensing units;
d) evaporative condensing refrigerant compressor condensing units.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 18517, GB/T 21363, GB 50072 and the following apply.
3.1
minimum allowable values of energy efficiency for positive displacement refrigerant compressor condensing unit
minimum allowable values of performance coefficient for positive displacement refrigerant compressor condensing unit during cooling operation under rated conditions
3.2
maximum allowable values of energy efficiency for cold store
maximum allowable values of actual energy efficiency index for cold store under rated conditions
3.3
actual energy efficiency index for cold store
η
ratio of power consumption of the cold store for 24h (TEC25) to the reference power consumption (TECmax), at an ambient temperature of 25°C, or under rated conditions which may be converted to an ambient temperature of 25°C
3.4
unit input power
sum of the compressor power of refrigerant compressor condensing unit and all the input powers of other auxiliary equipment in the unit (such as fans and motors) under nominal conditions
3.5
state of stable operation
state in which there is no continuous decrease or increase in the average temperature in the cold store; and state, in which, the refrigerant compressor can automatically start and stop during operation, and in the case of cyclic variation of temperature in the cold store, the unidirectional fluctuation difference of the average temperature of the corresponding temperature points in the cold store at the corresponding time points of several whole cycles of automatic start and stop with an interval of more than 6h shall not be greater than 0.5°C; where the refrigerant compressor operates continuously, the unidirectional fluctuation difference of the average temperature of the corresponding temperature points in the cold store at the whole cycle time points of more than 6h is not more than 0.5°C
Note: The time points where temperature fluctuations are caused by defrosting are excluded.
4 Energy efficiency grades
4.1 Energy efficiency grades for cold store
The energy efficiency for cold store is divided into three grades by its energy efficiency index: Grades 1, 2, and 3. Grade 1 indicates the highest energy efficiency. The actual energy efficiency index of each energy efficiency grade shall not be larger than those given in Table 1.

4.2 Energy efficiency grades for positive displacement refrigerant compressor condensing unit
The energy efficiency for positive displacement refrigerant compressor condensing unit is divided into three grades by the performance coefficient which is the basis of the energy efficiency grade: Grades 1, 2, and 3. Grade 1 indicates the highest energy efficiency. The actual performance coefficient of each energy efficiency grade shall not be less than those given in Table 2.

5.1 Maximum allowable values of energy efficiency for cold store
The maximum allowable values of energy efficiency for cold store are the energy efficiency index value of Grade 3 in Table 1.
5.2 Minimum allowable values of energy efficiency for positive displacement refrigerant compressor condensing unit
The minimum allowable values of energy efficiency for positive displacement refrigerant compressor condensing unit are the energy efficiency index value of Grade 3 in Table 2.
