1 The Model and Use of Product Model
1.1 Product model is a kind of code used for the convenience of business contact, simplifying product name, specification and type in technical documents for the using, manufacturing and design departments etc. , it shall be simple and non-repetitive.
1.2 Product model is composed of the Chinese pinyin letters approved in the first National People's Congress (NPC) in February 11, 1958 and international symbols and Arabic numerals.
The Chinese pinyin letters shall be selected according to the following principles:
a. As for the Chinese character representing the meaning in the product name, take the first letter of its pinyin.
b. If the above letters cause repetitive model or cannot be adopted because of other difficulties, the first letter of the pinyin of other Chinese characters for the product name may be adopted.
c. If it is really difficult, other letters may be selected.
1.3 As for various types of rotating electrical machines for which this standard applies, the product model may be used only after application.
