3 Basic Provisions
3.0.1 In the construction projects, the chimneys may be divided into unit engineering or subunit engineering. The partitioned project chimney may be divided according to the foundation, tube body, chimney platform, corrosion protection of chimney, and ancillary works. Framed steel chimney may be divided into such two partitioned projects as tower and tube body. The tube body may be divided into several sub-partitioned projects according to the different types of chimney. When one partitioned project includes only one subdivisional work, this subdivisional work shall be partitioned project.

3.0.3 The acceptable quality level of inspection lot shall meet the following requirements:
1 The quality of dominant item shall comply with the relevant regulations specified in this code. When the inspection quantity is not noticed, the dominant items shall be wholly inspected;
2 The quality of general items shall be qualified through the sampling inspection. When adopting counting inspection, except for special provisions, the inspection result shall be that 80% or above shall comply with the requirements on the acceptable quality level specified in this code and shall not be with critical defect or the maximum deviation shall not exceed 1.2 times of the permissible variation value;
3 It shall be with such data as intact construction operating criteria, quality inspection record file and certificate documents.
3.0.4 The acceptable quality level of subdivisional work shall meet the following requirements:
1 The inspection lots contained in the subdivisional work all shall comply with the provisions on specified quality;
2 The quality control data shall be intact.
3.0.5 The acceptable quality level of partitioned and sub-partitioned projects shall meet the following requirements:
1 The quality of the subdivisional works included in the partitioned and sub-partitioned projects all shall be qualified in the acceptance inspection;
2 The quality control data shall be intact;
3 The relevant inspections on safety and functions and the sampling inspection results shall comply with the relevant regulations specified in this code;
4 The impression quality acceptance shall meet the requirements.
3.0.6 The acceptable quality level of chimney engineering shall meet the following requirements:
1 The quality of the partitioned and sub-partitioned projects included in the chimney engineering all shall be qualified in the acceptance inspection;
2 The quality control data shall be intact;
3 The relevant data of the safety and function inspections of partitioned and sub-partitioned projects included in the chimney engineering shall be intact;
4 The impression quality acceptance shall meet the requirements.
3.0.7 When the quality of chimney engineering fails to meet the requirement, it shall be disposed according to the following requirements:
1 After remanufacturing or replacing the apparatus, the inspection lot of equipments shall be inspected for acceptance again;
