1 General 1.0.1 This code is formulated with view to strengthening the technical management of composite steel-form in engineering construction, enhancing the manufacture and service quality of composite steel-form products, improving the turnover effect of form and increasing comprehensive economic benefit. 1.0.2 This code is applicable to the cast-in-place concrete of industrial and civil buildings and general structures as well as the design, manufacture, construction and technical management of composite steel-form used for precast concrete unit. 1.0.3 The composite steel-form mentioned in this code refers to the composite steel-form designed according to modular system. The steel form is formed by rolling of special equipment and is provided with complete universal accessories for auxiliary usage. Furthermore, the steel form can be composed and assembled into form surface and integral formwork of various dimensions which is benefit to mechanized construction on site. 1.0.4 The module of composite steel-form shall be consistent with the current national standards "Building Constructions - Modular Coordination - Unified Standards" (GBJ 2), "Building Constructions - Modular Coordination - Standards for Residential Buildings" (GBJ 100) and "Building Constructions - Modular Coordination - Standards for Factory Buildings" (GBJ 6). 1.0.5 The problems not specified in this code shall meet the requirements of relevant current national standards and codes. 2 Basic Requirements 2.1 General Requirements 2.1.1 For the design of composite steel-form, the limit state calculation method based on probability theory and the design formula of partial factor shall be adopted. 2.1.2 Steel form shall be provided with sufficient rigidity and strength. The rigidity and intensity of plane form under specified load shall meet the requirements specified in Table 3.3.4 of this code. The section features shall meet the requirements specified in Appendix C of this code. 2.1.3 The steel form shall be provided with tight splicing, flexible assembling/disassembling and convenient handling. 2.1.4 For steel form, the hole spacing of longitudinal and transverse ribs shall be consistent with the module of form. The form may be assembled longitudinally and transversely. 2.1.5 Other special forms shall be added as required by engineering characteristics, but the module shall be consistent with that of steel form of this code. 2.2 Composition and Requirements 2.2.1 The composite steel-form is composed by steel form and accessories. 1 The steel form includes the universal forms (plane form, internal corner form, external corner form and connection corner form) and special forms (chamfer form, haunch form, flexible form, overlapped form, adjustable form and patched form); see Appendix A of this code for detail. 2 The connecting pieces of accessories include U-shaped clamp, L-shaped bolt, hook bolt, fastening bolt, split bolt and fastener; the supporting pieces of accessories include steel arris, column hoop, steel column, early removing column cap, diagonal bracing, composite support, fastener-type steel pipe support, portal support, bowl-buckle support, square-tower support, beam clamps, ring beam clamp and truss. (See Appendix A of this code for detail) 2.2.2 The modular system shall be adopted for the design of steel form. The width module of universal form upgrades by 50mm, the length module upgrades by 150mm (where the length exceeds 900mm, the module upgrades by 300mm). 2.2.3 The specification of steel form shall meet the requirements specified in Table 2.2.3, Appendix B and Appendix K of this code.
