1 General
1.0.1 This Code is developed with a view to ensuring the quality of field equipment and industrial metal pipe welding engineering for project construction.
1.0.2 This code is applicable to the construction and acceptance of welding engineering by manual electric arc welding, argon arc welding, carbon dioxide gas arc welding, submerged arc welding and oxyacetylene welding in the material of carbon steel, alloy steel, aluminum and its alloy, copper and its alloy, industrial grade pure titanium as well as nickel and its alloy.
1.0.3 This code is no applicable to the welding engineering of boilers and pressure vessels to be assembly welded at the construction site.
1.0.4 The safety technology and labor protection for welding engineering shall comply with relevant provisions of the state’s current guidelines, policies, laws and legislations.
1.0.5 In addition to this code, the construction of welding engineering shall be in compliance with the provisions of the state’s current relevant standards and codes.
