1 General provision
1.0.1 This code is formulated with a view to unify installation and acceptance requirements for gas extinguishing system (or "system" for short) engineering, to insure engineering quality of the gas extinguishing system.
1.0.2 This code is applicable to installation, acceptance and maintenance administration of gas extinguishing system engineering set in the construction, extension and renovation projects.
1.0.3 Installation and acceptance of gas extinguishing system engineering shall adhere to the principle of process monitoring, means consummating and acceptance intensifying.
1.0.4 Requirements of engineering technical documents and contractual document for the installation and quality acceptance adopted in the installation of gas extinguishing system engineering shall not be lower than that specified in this code.
1.0.5 Installation, acceptance and maintenance administration of gas extinguishing system engineering shall not only meet the requirements specified in those code, but also shall meet the requirements of current relevant standards of the nation.

2.0.8 Pre-engineered systems
Fire extinguishing systems features for gang control function and pre-designing and assembling serially the fire extinguishing agent memory devices and spraying components according to certain application conditions
2.0.9 Cabinet gas extinguishing equipment
Cabinet gas extinguishing equipment composed of cylinder group, pipeline, nozzle, signal feedback elements, leak-hunting component, driving parts, depressurizing component, fire detection component, and monitors, and features for automatic detection and extinguishing
2.0.10 Condensed aerosol fire extinguishing device
Equipment makes the aerosol propellant generate aerosol fire extinguishing agent through combustion reaction. It is generally composed of initiator, aerosol propellant and generator, cooling plant (agent), feedback element, crust and its assorted fire detecting arrangement and controlling device.
2.0.11 Total flooding extinguishing systems
Within the time specified, fire extinguishing systems spraying fire extinguishing agent with design specified usage to the protected area and makes it evenly suffuse the whole protected area
2.0.12 Local application extinguishing systems
Fire extinguishing systems direct spray fire extinguishing agent to the protected objects with design spraying rate, and last for certain time
2.0.13 Protected area
Limited confined space meeting the requirement for total flooding extinguishing systems
2.0.14 Protected object
Objects protected by local application extinguishing systems
3 General requirements
3.0.1 Construction organization of gas extinguishing systems engineering shall be in accordance with the following requirements:
1 Construction organization assuming the gas extinguishing systems must be provided with aptitude of corresponding hierarchy.
2 Management for construction site shall be provided with systems of corresponding engineering technology standard, technical schedule and executive plan, consummating quality monitoring system, construction quality monitoring and inspection.
Quality management of the construction site shall be inspected and record in accordance with those specified in Table A of this code.
3.0.2 Before construction of the gas extinguishing systems engineering, it shall be provided with the following conditions:
1 The design documents approved like construction drawing, design instruction and design alteration requisition shall be complete.
2 Certificate of inspection and valid documentation required by market admission system of such system constituents as reservoir vessel, non-return valve,, collecting main, security relief devices, selector valve, valve actuating device, nozzle, signal feedback device, leak-hunting device and reliever of the integrated equipment, fire extinguishing agent, as well as the delivery conduit and pipeline fastenings of fire extinguishing agent shall meet the requirement.
3 Products adopted in the system but cannot be rechecked shall be provided with inspecting reports and certificate for the same batch of products given by the manufacturing plant.
4 Systems, and application and maintenance instruction of its major components shall be complete.
5 Water supply, power supply and gas supply conditions meet the requirement for continuous construction operation.
