1. General Provisions
1.0.1 This Code is formulated with a view to uniform the technical requirements on installation quality inspection, routine inspection and final acceptance of the generic cabling system for buildings and building complexes.
1.0.2 This Code is applicable to the acceptance inspections of the generic cabling systems in the construction, extension and renovation of buildings and building complexes.
1.0.3 In the implementation of the generic cabling system, the requirements on the engineering acceptance stated in the engineering documents and contract documents shall not be lower than the provisions of this code.
1.0.4 In the construction procedure, the construction organization must comply with the relevant provisions of this code on engineering acceptance. The development organization shall, through on-site representative or supervisors, strengthen the construction quality inspection and timely organize inspection and acceptance for the concealed works.
1.0.5 The generic cabling system shall comply with the design requirements. Self-check testing and final acceptance testing shall be carried out prior to the engineering acceptance.
1.0.6 For the engineering acceptance of generic cabling system, not only the requirements stipulated in this code, but also those in the current relevant ones of the nation shall be complied with.
2. Environment inspection
2.0.1 The inspection of the working area, telecommunication room and equipment room shall include the following contents:
1 The civil works of the working area, telecommunication room and equipment room have been completed fully. The flooring shall be leveling and smooth, and the height and width of the doors shall comply with the design requirements.
2 For the concealed wire chase, closed conduit, pore space and vertical shaft, the position, quantity and size shall comply with the design requirements.
3 In the locations paved with free access floors, the antistatic measures and grounding of the free access floor shall comply with the design requirements.
4 In telecommunication room and equipment room, 220V single-phase electric outlet (with protective ground), shall be provided.
5 In telecommunication room and equipment room, reliable grounding connection shall be provided. The ground resistance value and grounding connection setting shall comply with the design requirements.
6 The position, floor area, height, ventilation, fire prevention, environmental temperature and humidity of the telecommunication room and equipment room shall comply with the design requirements.
2.0.2 The inspection of the building incoming feeder room and inlet facilities shall include the following items:
1 The distance between the incoming pipe and other facilities like power supply, water supply, coal gas and sewerage shall comply with the design requirements.
2 The cable/wire laying method shall comply with the design requirements.
3 The treatment in the pipe inlet position shall comply with the design requirements, and shall be equipped with proper drainage and other measures to prevent the entrance of gas, water and insects.
4 The position, floor area, height, lighting, power supply, ground, fire prevention and waterproof measures of the incoming feeder room shall comply with the design requirements.
2.0.3 The installation mode of the relevant facilities shall comply with the antiseismic requirements stated in the design documents.
3. Inspection of equipment and testing instruments/tools
3.0.1 The equipment inspection shall comply with the following requirements:
1 Brand, model, specification, quantity and quality of the cables and equipments used in the project shall be inspected prior to construction. They shall comply with the design requirements and provide the corresponding quality documents or certificates. Should the cables or equipments are not supplied with proper factory inspection certificates, quality documents, or are not in accordance with the design requirements, they shall not be applied in the project.
