1 General provisions
1.0.1 This code is formulated with a view to rationally designing the fire dikes and safety walls and ensuring the safety of storage tank farms.
1.0.2 This code is applicable to the design of fire dikes and safety walls in constructed, renovated and extended projects in above-ground liquid storage tank farm.
1.0.3 For the design of fire dikes and safety walls, measures shall be tailored to suit local conditions and models shall be reasonably selected based on meeting technical requirements, so as to achieve safe, durable, economical and reasonable results.
1.0.4 The design of fire dikes and safety walls in the storage tank farm shall not only comply with this code, but also meet the requirements of the current relevant standards of the nation.
