1.0.1 This Code was formulated in order to unify the design principles and technical standards of mine headframe structure, to achieve safety and usability, advanced technology, economic rationality and good quality.
1.0.2 This code is applicable to the design of the headframes for mine vertical shaft steel structure and reinforced concrete structure, and not applicable to the design of wooden headframes, brick headframes and headframes of inclined shaft.
1.0.3 The designed safety grade of headframes shall be Grade 2.
1.0.4 The seismic precautionary category of headframes shall meet the requirements of the current national standard "Design Code for Antiseismic of Special Structures" GB 50191.
1.0.5 The fire hazard from headframe shall be Category C, and the fire resistance grade of structure shall be Grade 2. Where the support members and non-bearing external wall of heapstead are non-combustible elements, the fire endurance of the structure members of headframe may be reduced to 0.25h.
1.0.6 The design of headframe shall be practical, the materials and structural scheme shall be selected reasonably, new technology and new process shall be popularized, and headframes shall be easy for fabrication, installation and maintenance.
1.0.7 In addition to this code, the design of headframe shall meet the requirements of the current relevant standards of the nation.
