1 General provisions
1.0.1 This is formulated to comply with and implement state laws and regulations like " coal industry technical policy", " safety regulations in coal mine" and the current national standard " coal industry shaft design specifications" GB 50215 in the coal mine shaft station chamber design. This also aimed at unifying coal mine shaft station chamber principles of design and technical standard, use state-of-art technology, make it safe, economical, high-quality and human-oriented.
1.0.2 This standard is applicable to coal mine shaft station chamber design.
1.0.3 Not only the requirements stipulated in this code, but yet those in the current relevant ones of the nation shall be complied with for the design of chambers around pit-bottom of coal mine.
2 Fundamental rules
2.0.1 Pit bottom chamber arrangement shall be convenient for equipment installation, overhaul and transportation. The waterproof, fireproofing and blast protection safety requirements shall be conformed to.
2.0.2 Pit-bottom chamber position selection shall be in accordance with the following requirements:
1 Choose the stable and hard rock (coal) layer; be free from dislocation, broken belt, water layer and worked-out section.
2 Do not place it at the dangerous coal bed and shock bump coal seam with coal-gas outburst.
3 Underground mechanical/electrical equipment chamber shall be in the inlet air. If chamber depth is not more than 6m, entrance width not be less than 1.5m and no gas inflow, diffusion ventilation can be adopted.
2.0.3 Pit bottom chamber cross-section control gear and support pattern shall be determined by operation requirements, chamber span, surrounding rock stability, support material property, construction method, cost and construction period, which shall meet the following requirements:
1 Semicircular arch is generally adopted as chamber cross-section switch. As for the chamber cross-section in the floppy strata, reinforced timbering measures shall be taken to adapt to surrounding rock looseness and deformation.
2 Chamber support pattern and support shall meet the provisions of current national standard "Code for design of roadway section and junction of coal mine" GB 50419.
3 As for the surrounding rock chamber with strong aquosity, fire prevention and damp proof measures shall be taken as the support. Electromechanical chamber shall be free from dripping.
4 Electromechanical devices chamber shall adopt concrete, reinforced concrete, dressed stone or other incombustibility material for support. Unless otherwise provided for, concrete strength grade shall not be less than C20, reinforced concrete strength grade shall not be less than C25, concrete compressive strength calculation shall meet the provisions of current national standard "Code for Design of Concrete Structures” GB 50010.
5 Electromechanical devices chamber ground should be higher than the roadway base plate which shall be paved with concrete. The bottom base shall not be less than 0.1; the concrete strength grade shall not be less than C15.
2.0.4 Outward opened fire door or fire screen column must be installed on the port or gangway of chamber of mechanical and electrical equipment.
