1.0.1 This code is formulated with a view to ensuring the construction quality of oil and gas transmission pipeline crossing engineering (hereinafter referred to as "crossing engineering") and achieving safety, environmental protection and application.
1.0.2 This code is applicable to the construction of newly-built or renovated and extended crude oil, natural gas, welding gas, refined oil, etc. transmission pipeline engineering crossing overground and underground obstructions difficult to cross, such as rivers, lakes, hills, highways and railways.
1.0.3 The construction method of the crossing engineering may be divided into 5 types: directional drilling crossing construction, pushing pipe crossing construction, shield crossing construction, open-cut excavating crossing construction, mine tunnelling method crossing construction.
1.0.4 The enterprises undertaking crossing engineering construction shall be provided with the construction enterprise qualification authorized by the national or industrial authorities.
1.0.5 The construction and acceptance of the crossing engineering shall not only conform to this code, but also comply with those of the current laws and regulations and relevant standards of the nation.
