1 General Provisions
1.0.1 This code is formulated with view to implement the relevant national laws and regulations as well as policies during the design of belt conveyor engineering, unify and standardize the design of belt conveyor engineering, guarantee engineering quality and safety production and realize the purpose of advanced technology and economic feasibility.
1.0.2 This code is applicable to the design of belt conveyor engineering supported by idler and transmitting traction force by friction force between driving pulley and conveyor belt.
This code is not applicable to the design for wire rope traction belt conveyor engineering, tubular belt conveyor engineering and air cushion belt conveyor engineering.
1.0.3 The stacking density of material conveyed by belt conveyor engineering should be 0.05~2.80t/m3, material temperature shall not be higher than 60°C, and operating ambient temperature shall be -25~+40°C.
1.0.4 Design of belt conveyor engineering shall meet not only those specified in this code, but also the requirements of relevant national current standards.
