1.0.1 This code is formulated in order to strengthen tunnelling works construction management with shield tunnelling method, unify construction technique and quality acceptance standard of shield tunnelling works and ensure works safety, environment safety and works quality of construction process.
1.0.2 This code is applicable to the construction and quality acceptance of prefabricated segment assembly tunnelling structure with shield tunnelling method construction.
1.0.3 The shield indicated in this code shall include soil-pressure balance shield, muddy water shield and compound shield.
1.0.4 The requirements for construction and quality in contract and technical documents of shield tunnelling method tunnelling works shall not be less than those specified in this code.
1.0.5 During construction period of shield tunnelling method tunnelling works, the adjacent building (structure) and underground pipe network shall be monitored; the important building (structure) or with special protection requirements shall be adopted with necessary technical measures as required.
1.0.6 The construction and acceptance for the shield tunnelling method tunnelling works shall not only comply with this code but also comply with those in the national current relevant standards.
