1.0.1 This code is formulated to go through with national technical and economic policies during design of oil and gas transportation pipeline aerial crossing engineering, so as to achieve state-of-art technology, safety and reliability, quality security, economy and rationality.
1.0.2 This code is applicable to design of construction, reconstruction and extension of steel pipeline aerial crossing engineering for transferring crude oil, finished oil, natural gas, coal gas and liquefied petroleum gas at normal temperature in districts where ground shock peak acceleration is less than or equal to 0.40g.
1.0.3 Design documents of pipeline aerial crossing engineering shall give clear indication of design life of the structural engineering, and describe weld seam style of steel structure of the structural engineering, quality grade of weld seam and weld seam detection standards.
1.0.4 Not only the requirements stipulated in this code, but also those in the current relevant ones of the nation shall be complied with for design of pipeline aerial crossing engineering.
