1.0.1 This code is established in order to implement "Law of the People's Republic of China on Protecting Against and Mitigating Earthquake Disasters", guarantee the security of oil and gas transmission pipeline engineering, achieve the economic and applicable purposes and meet the requirements of application function.
1.0.2 This code is applicable to the seismic, design, construction and acceptance of construction, extension and renovation engineering for land steel oil and gas transmission pipeline engineering on the area that the ground motion peak acceleration is larger than or equal to 0.05g and is less than or equal to 0.40g.
1.0.3 The survey, design, construction and acceptance of oil and gas transmission pipeline engineering shall comply with this code, besides, shall be in accordance with those specified in the current national relevant standards.
