1 Subject content and applicable scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements, packaging, marking, storage and transportation and sampling of general purpose lithium lubricating grease.
This standard is applicable to the general purpose lithium lubricating grease which is made of lithium fatty acid soap thickener mineral lubricating oil, with addition of additives such as antioxidant and antirust agent.
The products meeting this standard shall have good water resistance, mechanical stability, corrosion resistance and oxidation stability. They can be used for lubricating the rolling bearings and sliding bearings as well as other frication parts of various mechanical equipment with a working temperature of -20~120℃.
The products specified in this standard are coded as L-XBCHA1, L-XBCHA2 and L-XBCHA3 respectively in accordance with the requirements of GB/T 7631.8.
