本标准规定了保护那些通常使用于户内电气装置、电子设备和其中件的尺寸为φ5mm×20mm和φ6.3mm×32mm小型熔断器用管状熔断体的特殊要求。本标准不适用于在特殊条件下(例如：腐蚀和易燃环境)使用的电气装置的熔断体。本标准还采用GB 9364.1—1997的要求。
