1 General Principles
1.1 This standard is formulated to implementing the "prevention first" policy, improve the housing conditions of rural residents and ensure their physical health.
1.2 This standard is applicable to the rural housing designed, newly-built and rebuilt in unity below the county level. Individually built residential building shall refer to this standard. This standard is applicable as well to the hygienic evaluation to the residence that have already been built up.
1.3 In building the rural housing, the competent department of construction unit shall be agreed with relevant departments at the corresponding levels in residential site selection. Before construction, the relevant design-drawings and technical documents of residential-construction shall be examined by the Sanitation and Anti-epidemic Station.
1.4 This standard provides design reference for rural housing for construction units and building design departments. The Sanitation and Anti-epidemic Station and the Environmental Health Monitoring Station are in charge of supervising and examining how this standard is implemented .
