This standard specifies the performance test method of utility boiler as the reference for the verification test (hereinafter referred to as "acceptance test" generally) and acceptance test on the performance of boiler.
This standard is applicable to the steam boiler with evaporative capacity above 35t/h or 35t/h and the pressure at steam outlet being higher than 2.45MPa or the temperature at exceeding 400℃. The performance test on the power generation boiler of the other parameters may be implemented by making reference thereto.
This standard is also applicable to the thermal efficiency test of boilers that is carried out for other purposes (such as condition adjustment, fuel variation, and equipment innovation).
This standard is not applicable to the performance test on the steam generators in nuclear power stations.
