This document replaces GB/T 10228-2009 Technical parameters and requirements for dry-type power transformers. In addition to structural adjustments and editorial, the following main technical changes have been made with respect GB/T 10228-2009:
—— The no-load loss of 6 kV / 10 kV de-energized voltage-regulating distribution transformers is reduced by about 20% on average, and the no-load current (rated capacity of 250 kVA and above) is reduced by about 20% on average (Table 1 herein; Table 1 of Edition 2015);
—— The no-load loss of 6 kV / 10 kV de-energized voltage-regulating power transformers is reduced by about 20% on average, and the no-load current is reduced by about 20% on average (Table 2 herein; Table 2 of Edition 2015);
—— The no-load loss of 6 kV / 10 kV on-load voltage-regulating distribution transformers is reduced by about 20% on average, and the no-load current is reduced by about 20% on average (Table 3 herein; Table 3 of Edition 2015);
—— The no-load loss of 20 kV de-energized voltage-regulating distribution transformers is reduced by about 10% on average, and the no-load current is reduced by about 10% on average (Table 4 herein; Table 4 of Edition 2015);
—— The no-load loss of 35 kV de-energized voltage-regulating distribution transformers is reduced by about 10% on average, and the no-load current is reduced by about 10% on average (Table 5 herein; Table 5 of Edition 2015);
—— The no-load loss of 35 kV de-energized voltage-regulating power transformers is reduced by about 10% on average, and the no-load current is reduced by about 10% on average (Table 6 herein; Table 6 of Edition 2015);.
—— The no-load loss of 35 kV on-load voltage-regulating power transformers is reduced by about 10% on average, and the no-load current is reduced by about 10% on average (Table 7 herein; Table 7 of Edition 2015);
—— Text "different insulation system temperatures" is changed to "different Thermal insulation grades", and the expression form is revised (Clause 4 herein; Clause 4 of Edition 2015);
—— The inspection rules and methods are modified (Clause 6 hereof; Clause 6 of Edition 2015).

1 Scope
This Document specifies the performance parameters, technical requirements, inspection rules and methods, marking, lifting, packaging, transportation and storage of dry-type power transformers.
This Document is applicable to de-energized or on-load voltage-regulating three-phase dry-type power transformers with a rated power of 30 kVA and above, a rated frequency of 50 Hz, a voltage class of 6 kV, 10 kV, 20 kV or 35 kV, equipped with electrical steel core for indoor use.
This Document is applicable to gas-filled transformers.

For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 1094.1, GB/T 1094.11 and GBT 2900.95 and the following apply.

power transformer
transformer that transforms the AC voltage and current values of a power system into different voltages and currents of another power system to deliver electrical energy
3.2
distribution transformer
power transformation for distribution that regulates higher voltages to the last-level distribution voltages
4 Performance parameters
4.1 Rated power, voltage combination, tapping range, connection symbol, no-load loss, load loss, no-load current and short-circuit impedance of dry-type power transformers shall meet those specified in Tables 1 to 3.
