1 Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate for industrial use.
It is applicable to the di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate for industrial use prepared by esterification method using phthalic anhydride and octanol (2-ethylhexanol).

3.1 Appearance: an oily liquid that is transparent and free from visible impurities.
