1 Scope
This standard specifies the specification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation and storage of sealed insulating glass unit.
It is applicable to sealed insulating glass units used in building and for refrigeration.

sealed insulating glass unit
product formed by two or more panes of glasses that are evenly spaced apart with effective supports and bonded and sealed to each other at the edge, therefore a dry gas space exists between the glass layers
