1 Scope
This standard specifies the dry density, moisture content, water absorption, mechanical properties (compressive strength, splitting tensile strength, flexing strength, axial compressive strength and static compressive elasticity modulus), dry shrinkage, frost resistance, carbonization, wetting and drying cycle test method, result assessment and test report for autoclaved aerated concrete.
This standard is applicable to autoclaved aerated concrete.
2 Dry Density, Moisture Content and Water Absorption
2.1 Apparatus
2.1.1 Electrothermal blowing dry box: maximum temperature: 200℃.
2.1.2 Table balance or platform balance: weighing 2 000 g and sensibility 1 g.
2.1.3 Straight steel ruler: specification of 300mm and division of 0.5 mm.
2.1.4 Thermostatic water tank: water temperature: 15℃~25℃.
2.2 Test Specimen
2.2.1 In the preparation of test specimens, mechanical saw or knife saw shall be adopted and during sawing, the test specimen shall be kept away from water.
2.2.2 A group of test specimens shall be taken from the article center part along the article gas release direction in an order of the upper, middle and lower with the top surface of the "upper" one being 30 mm from the article top surface, the "middle" one being at the article center, and the lower surface of the "lower " one being 30 mm away from the article bottom. The interval between test specimens slightly varies with different article heights. Taking a 600mm high article as an example, the positions to be sawed for the test specimens are as shown in Figure 1.
