This document specifies the classification and codes, ordering information, manufacturing process, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking and quality certificate for cold-rolled quality carbon structural steel sheets and strips.
This document is applicable to the production, inspection and delivery of cold-rolled quality carbon structural steel sheets and strips (hereinafter referred to as "sheets and strips") with a thickness not exceeding 4 mm.

5 Ordering information
5.1 Contracts or orders for ordering in accordance with this document shall include at least the following:
a) This document number;
b) Product name;
c) Grade;
d) Dimensions, specifications and tolerances;
e) Surface quality grade;
f) Surface finish;
g) Type of oiling;
h) Edge condition;
i) Packaging method;
j) Weight;
k) Intended use;
l) Special requirements.
5.2 If the dimensional and flatness tolerances, surface quality grade, surface finish, edge condition and packaging method are not specified in the order contract, the products shall be delivered with ordinary dimensional and flatness tolerances, higher-grade surface quality, matt surface finish, medium-oiled cut edges, and packaged in the manner provided by the supplier.
