1 Subject Content and Application Scope
This standard specifies the basic rules and calculation methods which shall be complied with in the design calculation of tower crane. Other calculation methods which have been theoretically and practically proven to be correct and reliable may also be adopted.
This standard is applicable to various types of and functions of power-driven tower cranes.
This standard is not applicable to the tower cranes converted from truck, tire and crawler cranes.
