GB/T15120的本部分是描述在第4章中定义的识别卡的特性和国际交换中使用识别卡的系列标准之一。
本部分规定了识别卡上低矫顽力磁条(包括任何保护涂层)的特性、编码技术、编码磁道的位置和字符集。根据人、机两者因素规定了最低要求。
矫顽力影响到本部分中许多量值的规定,但本身未作规定。把卡暴露于磁场之中很可能使已记录的数据被破坏。
本部分适用于提供卡应遵循的准则。在这些标准中没有考虑使用次数,如果需要,则根据以前卡测试的经验。如果卡不符合规定准则,应在涉及到的各方中进行协商。
ISO/IEC10373-2规定了检查卡符合本部分规定参数的测试步骤。
注:在本部分中用到的公制和/或英制测量体系中的数值可能已经被换算,但相互间并不完全相等。两种制式都被
使用,但两者不宜被混杂或被再转换。最初的设计是使用英制测量体系。
