GB/T 15166.5-2008 High-voltage Alternating-current Fuses – Part 5: Specification for High-voltage Fuse-links for Motor Circuit Applications (English Version)
1.1 Scope
This part specifies the time-current characteristic, requirements of impulse withstand test and the selection guide of the high-voltage fuse-links for motor circuit applications.
This part applies to fuse-links used with motor started direct-on-line on alternating current systems of 50Hz and with the nominal voltage of 3kV or above.
The normal service conditions and motor starting pulses to which the fuse-links are subjected shall meet the requirements of GB/T 15166.2-2008.
Note: when motors are used with assisted starting, this part can also be applied but particular attention should be paid to the selection of the rated current of the fuse-link and the manufacturer of the fuse-link should preferably be consulted.
