1 Scope
This standard specifies methods for qualifying static battery chargers and inverters for Class 1E installations outside containment in nuclear power plants, so as to ensure that they are able to execute the intended functions under specified service conditions.
This standard is not applicable to the application of battery chargers and inverters in the plant’s power system, and it does not specify the specific performance requirements of these devices.
