1 Scope
This document specifies the basic requirements, testing requirements, calculation methods and evaluation indicators for the energy efficiency monitoring of fan units and ductwork systems.
This document applies to centrifugal fans, axial fans and centrifugal blower units and network systems driven by electric motors of 5.5 kW and above, as well as to fan units and network systems with speed regulation.
This document does not apply to fan units and network systems for the transport of liquids and solid materials.

3 Terminology and definitions
The following terms and definitions are applicable to this document.
3.1
Fan 's unit
An overall unit consisting of a fan, motor, speed control device and transmission mechanism.
4 Energy efficiency monitoring requirements
4.1 Basic requirements
4.1.1 The equipment in the fan 's unit and the pipe network system should not be products that have been explicitly eliminated by the state.
4.1.2 Electric motors with a power of 55 kW and above should be equipped with energy measuring instruments.
4.1.3 The load factor of the motor at rated speed shall not be less than 45%.
4.1.4 Fan units with variable frequency speed regulation shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 21056.
4.2 Test requirements
4.2.1 The test shall be carried out under the daily operating conditions of the fan unit and the pipe network system:
a) under constant working conditions and under steady load
b) under variable working conditions, at the most frequent load.
4.2.2 The test instrument shall be within the validity period of the test/calibration and the accuracy shall not be less than that specified in Table 1.
4.2.3 The test section shall be selected in accordance with the test method to meet the requirements of the straight section of the test pipe, rectangular pipe calculated as a multiple of the long side of the section. If the system has no inlet piping and the outlet piping has no flat long pipe section, a straight section for testing may be installed at the fan inlet.
4.2.4 The measuring points of the test section shall be arranged according to the requirements of Appendix A.
4.2.5 The input power test, pressure test, temperature test and flow test of the unit shall be carried out according to the provisions of GB/T 10178.
4.2.6 The output power test of the motor shall be carried out according to the provisions of GB/T 34867.1.
4.2.7 The number of tests of the parameter under test should not be less than three times, the arithmetic mean of the effect of each weave as the test value.
4.2.8 The test process should be written in accordance with the requirements of Appendix B Table B1 dark.
5 Calculation method
6 Evaluation indicators
6.1 The results of energy saving monitoring of fan units and pipe network systems shall be determined by calculating the electrical energy utilisation rate.
6.2 See Table 2 for the evaluation benchmarks for the electrical energy utilisation rate of fan units and pipe network systems.
6.3 According to the evaluation benchmark of the electric energy utilisation rate of fan units and pipe network systems, the corresponding system electric energy utilisation rate is calculated according to different unit types as an evaluation index.
a) Centrifugal ventilation fan unit:
1) The evaluation index of the system electric energy utilization rate of the double-suction centrifugal fan unit is decreased by 3%; 2) The evaluation index of the centrifugal fan unit for HVAC is decreased by 3%.
2) For HVAC centrifugal ventilators, the evaluation index of the system energy efficiency is reduced by 3%;
3) When there is an air inlet box, the evaluation index of the system energy efficiency decreases by 4%.
b) Axial fan units
1) For reversible axial flow ventilators, the evaluation index of the system electric energy utilisation rate decreases by 8%.
2) When there is an inlet box, the evaluation index of the system power utilization rate decreases by 3%; 3) When there is no diffusion of the fan outlet, the evaluation index of the system power utilization rate increases by 2%. c) Centrifugal blower unit;
1) the use of three-stage flow impeller rotor, the evaluation index of system power utilization also increased by 5%.
2) rotors with multi-stage impellers, the average value of the electrical energy efficiency of the system is taken from the master stage.
3) For cantilevered single-stage double-support low-speed centrifugal blowers or cantilevered single-stage double-support high-speed centrifugal blowers, the evaluation index of the system power utilisation rate shall be increased by 1%.
d Other fan unit types shall meet the requirements of Table 2.
7 Evaluation of results
7.1 The electric energy utilisation rate of fan units and pipe network systems shall not be lower than the corresponding value in 6.3.
7.2 The evaluation process shall be completed in accordance with the requirements in Appendix D, Table D.1. The monitoring body will use this to carry out a qualified and unqualified evaluation. If all monitoring indicators are qualified, the energy saving monitoring results shall be considered as qualified.
7.3 For unqualified monitoring, the monitoring body shall make an energy efficiency evaluation report and make recommendations for improvement.

If the system has no inlet piping and the outlet piping has no flat long pipe section, a straight section for testing may be installed at the fan inlet.
4.2.4 The measuring points of the test section shall be arranged according to the requirements of Appendix A.
4.2.5 The input power test, pressure test, temperature test and flow test of the unit shall be carried out according to the provisions of GB/T 10178.
4.2.6 The output power test of the motor shall be carried out according to the provisions of GB/T 34867.1.
4.2.7 The number of tests of the parameter under test should not be less than three times, the arithmetic mean of the effect of each weave as the test value.
4.2.8 The test process should be written in accordance with the requirements of Appendix B Table B1 dark.
5 Calculation method
6 Evaluation indicators
6.1 The results of energy saving monitoring of fan units and pipe network systems shall be determined by calculating the electrical energy utilisation rate.
6.2 See Table 2 for the evaluation benchmarks for the electrical energy utilisation rate of fan units and pipe network systems.
6.3 According to the evaluation benchmark of the electric energy utilisation rate of fan units and pipe network systems, the corresponding system electric energy utilisation rate is calculated according to different unit types as an evaluation index.
a) Centrifugal ventilation fan unit:
1) The evaluation index of the system electric energy utilization rate of the double-suction centrifugal fan unit is decreased by 3%; 2) The evaluation index of the centrifugal fan unit for HVAC is decreased by 3%.
2) For HVAC centrifugal ventilators, the evaluation index of the system energy efficiency is reduced by 3%;
3) When there is an air inlet box, the evaluation index of the system energy efficiency decreases by 4%.
b) Axial fan units
1) For reversible axial flow ventilators, the evaluation index of the system electric energy utilisation rate decreases by 8%.

7 Evaluation of results
7.1 The electric energy utilisation rate of fan units and pipe network systems shall not be lower than the corresponding value in 6.3.
7.2 The evaluation process shall be completed in accordance with the requirements in Appendix D, Table D.1. The monitoring body will use this to carry out a qualified and unqualified evaluation. If all monitoring indicators are qualified, the energy saving monitoring results shall be considered as qualified.
7.3 For unqualified monitoring, the monitoring body shall make an energy efficiency evaluation report and make recommendations for improvement.
