GB/T 16453.6-2008 Technical specification for comprehensive control of soil and water conservation - Technique for erosion control of collapse hill (English Version)
1 Scope
This part of GB/T 16453 specifies the technical requirements, covering planning, design, construction and management, of erosion control of collapse hill.
This Part is applicable to regions with slope collapse hazards in southern disintegrated granite areas of China.
2 Normative References
The following standards contain provisions which, through reference in this part of GB/T 16453, constitute provisions of this part. For dated reference, subsequent amendments to, or revisions of, any of these publications do not apply. GB/T 16453.3-2008 Comprehensive Control of Soil and Water Conservation - Technical Specification - Technique for erosion control of gullies
3 General Provisions
3.1 According to characteristic and development law of slope collapse, on the guideline "both stressed prevention and treatment", the prevention and protection measures shall be taken for waste slope with possible slope collapse; and comprehensive improvement measures shall be taken for slope collapse occurred.
3.2 The preventive measures shall meet the following requirements:
3.2.1 In disintegrated granite hillside, grassroots or turf must not be cut or excavated, destroying ground vegetation, and ground vegetation shall be restored by closing mountains and facilitating forestation.
3.2.2 For natural water network of slope surface, small impoundment and drainage works, like intercepting ditch, drainage ditch and water reservoir shall be constructed timely, to intercept and disperse surface runoff, and avoid water discharging to collapse opening, resulting in occurrence and development of slope collapse.
3.3 Erosion control of collapse hill shall meet the following requirements:
3.3.1 Taking collapse opening as a catchment area, the comprehensive improvement measures shall be taken by adopting to local conditions.
3.3.2 Combination of treating incidental and fundamental aspects: control and keeping discharging flood and silt (collapse opening) jeopardizing downstream farmland, and refraining slope collapse development.
3.3.3 Combination of improvement and development: utilize land resources in and out of the collapse opening to develop economic plants like bamboo, tea, forest and fruit.
