本标准规定了在色漆、清漆及有关产品的单层或多层涂层上进行摆杆阻尼试验，测定其阻尼时间的标准方法。本标准规定A和B两种方法，A法采用科尼格和珀萨兹两种摆杆式阻尼试验仪，B法采用双摆杆式阻尼试验仪。
