1 Scope
This standard specifies the product classification, code, model, technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules, packaging, marking and storage of polyvinyl chloride(PVC) insulated wires used for the ignition of engineering blasting electric detonators(hereinafter referred to as detonating wires).
This standard is applicable to PVC insulated wires with copper core and galvanized steel core for electric detonator detonation.

For the purposes of this standard, the following definitions apply.
3.1
routine test
test performed by the manufacturer on the factory length of all finished detonating wire to verify the integrity of the detonating wire
3.2
sample test
test performed by the manufacturer on the finished detonating wire sample or on the sample taken from the finished detonating wire at the specified frequency to verify that the finished detonating wire meets the specified requirements

1 Scope
